Danfoss is looking for a Lead Consultant - SAP PLM to join our diverse team. Your focus will be to help implement PLM Solutions in all of Danfoss’ segments. You will define custom solutions to address customer requirements and further recognize improvement opportunities in the business process, using the company PLM framework.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
• Understand the business needs and language to define business requirements, assess feasibility of realization and derive IT requirements together with related product teams and experts.
• Design, lead, and coordinate the conception and implementation of Product Master Data related requirements into IT Solutions.
• Provide advanced knowledge and expertise within SAP PLM.
• Define, document, and represent the application architecture and should be able to come up with High level and Detailed Architecture.
• Sound Technical expertise in SAP PLM Objects like Material Master/Engineering Change Management/Document Management/Classification/Bill of Material.
• Good to have knowledge about Product Compliance/PLM Workflows.
• Knowledge about SAP-PLM interfaces, Integrations with other SAP Systems and Non-SAP Systems.
• Should be able to define roadmap for SAP PLM.
• Should be able to act as SME for SAP PLM.

The ideal candidate would be expected to own PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications and partner closely with business groups and Varian IT team to keep the enterprise applications running and up to date while driving innovative solutions to business problems under PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) domain with some cross-functional work with the SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) area. Minimum Required Skills And Knowledge
- Preferable to have hands on experience with 2 or more SAP PLM applications such as SAP DMS (Document Management System), PLC (Product Lifecycle Costing), ECN (Engineering Change Management), EHSM (Environmental Health & Safety Management), ECTR (Engineering Control Center), Visual Enterprise, etc.
- Familiarity with design engineering concepts and CAD tools (such as Solidworks, Creo, etc).
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
